75 Years and still going strong!
Despite the doom and gloom bandied about by business and NGOs at large, we seem to keep the candle glowing, creating more and more work and services for the sector that we serve.
To all the APDNMB managers and the board of APDNMB, I convey my sincere thanks for the amazing spirit in which each and every person has taken responsibility for their role and got on with the job at hand.
Testimony to this is the countless praises that rain down on our modest operation on almost a daily basis.
Our job creation centres, in all areas are busier than ever before. It is evident that the hard work put into achieving a B-BBEE Level 2 accreditation has a lot to do with this.
In January of this year we filled the post of Fundraising Manager. The initial task was to sort out the B-BBEE matter. Having done that we moved on to shed the “tin shaking” mindset, and set about restructuring the way that we applied for support from willing donors. As they say in the classics….Watch this space!
During 2014, we once again printed the 15000 caps that Casual Day sells nationally during the campaign. Talks have been concluded and at the 2015/16 AGM we will report that we have manufactured, from scratch, and printed 15000 golf shirts and well as repeat the 15000 cap printing order. This job will incorporate all sections within our operation ensuring consistent work for our people.
I trust that the content of this Annual Report will give you a better insight into our operation. For further information I would encourage you to visit our website www.apdnmb.org.za.
We give thanks to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for His abundant blessings.
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
